Is your food organic?
All of our food is grown using organic methods. It is entirely free of hormones, antibiotics, GMOs, and pesticides. Our fish is wild-caught, our meat is grass-fed, our poultry is pasture-raised, and all our produce is organic.
When do I need to order?
You can order up to Thursday noon for your next week’s dinners or your child’s school lunch box.
Do you have kids friendly meals?
We design four healthy meals options per week for kids. All kids meals are a combination of proteins, vegetables, and starch. They mirror the adult’s meals but are more considerate of their palate.
What is the serving size of your meals?
The average serving size for our kid's meals is 3 oz of protein, 1/2 cup of vegetables and 1/2 cup of starch, which is the average recommended portion size for age 12 and under, while an adult portion includes 5-6 oz of protein.
What time do you deliver?
We drop off your meals in a reusable cooler tote with reusable ice packs between 3 pm and 4:30 pm on Monday and Wednesday. We will notify you that your meals are at your door by ringing your doorbell and sending you a text notification. Your empty bag and ice packs will be collected upon your next delivery.
What if I am not home at the time of the delivery?
If you are coming home late after the delivery time, you can leave a cooler with ice outside. You can also partner with a neighbor. Simply notify us about the new delivery address.
What is the delivery cost?
Delivery is free for orders over $60 for each delivery day. Delivery fee is $9. If you want to order for less than $60 and save on delivery, you can partner with a neighbor and we will drop both your bags at one address or you can choose a pick-up location if it is close to your neighborhood.
How does the food arrive?
Your food arrives cooked and chilled in compostable containers. Please make sure to bring it in as soon as possible.
How do I heat my meals?
Heating instructions are written on each meal and online. For optimum flavor, we do not recommend microwaving for most of our meals.
From where do you source?
We source almost all of our ingredients from local farmers, local artisans and neighborhood gardens.
Is all the food free from allergens?
We always list ingredients and allergens on our menu. We are not yet using a gluten-free and nut-free kitchen and we, unfortunately, cannot guarantee that all our meals are completely free of allergens.
Can I send a gift card?
A new mom, an elderly relative, or just a busy friend would appreciate a couple of nights off from cooking! You can purchase a gift card here.
