A LOCAL food SYSTEM

We don't believe in shipping food nationwide. We believe food should travel a short distance—from our kitchen to yours. This approach ensures the highest level of freshness, preserves the integrity of our ingredients, and allows us to serve our community with care and precision.

By keeping our service local, we create a tighter feedback loop—so we can listen, adapt, and continuously improve based on your experience. It also means far less waste: no dry ice, excess packaging, or long-haul transport. Just real food, prepared with intention, delivered sustainably.

Convenience and real food can coexist, deliciously
FAMILY Dinners

Eating together at the dinner table is at the heart of who we are. We believe that when meals are planned ahead, you're more likely to choose nourishing food over hasty, last-minute cravings—and more importantly, you make space to gather and connect at the end of the day. That's why we design our weekly menus to be approachable for all ages and palates—offering a thoughtful balance of comfort, quiet sophistication, nutritional balance, and variety. No subscription is required, but if there's something you love or a staple your family counts on, you can subscribe to that specific item and receive it every week. Most meals are available in both individual and family sizes, with low-carb, gluten-friendly, and dairy-free variations to accommodate the needs and preferences of every household.

DETOX Program

Our detox programs are thoughtfully developed in collaboration with registered dietitian Whitney Stuart and trusted medical professionals, depending on the specific focus.Hormone RX, for example, was created with Dr.Roxanne Pero, a leader in functional medicine and hormonal health.
These programs are offered periodically and announced seasonally.

Our 2-Day Soup Cleanse is, however, available year-round. Unlike conventional cleanses that are low in fiber and protein, ours is crafted with nutrient-dense, antioxidant-rich, and protein-packed soups. It's a gentle reset designed to support digestion while nourishing your body.

MARKETPLACE

Our marketplace features small-batch goods from local artisans who share our commitment to quality, simplicity, and integrity.
From a warm cinnamon roll to a refined gluten-free treat or a jar of raw, unfiltered honey, every item is handpicked to complement your meals and elevate the everyday. These are not mass-produced products—they're crafted by people who care deeply about what goes into their food and how it's made.
Whether you're craving something sweet, savory, or nourishing between meals, our marketplace brings you clean, honest food—straight from our community to your home.

OFFICE Lunch

Whether it’s a stocked smart fridge, a recurring team lunch, or a healthy workplace perk, we offer chef-crafted salads, hearty soups, and protein-packed breakfasts designed to fuel energy, focus, and wellbeing. Each meal is packaged for freshness and easy enjoyment. We also partner with EZ Cater—the preferred platform for corporate meals—to make ordering simple and seamless. It’s a thoughtful way to support your team’s health and make mealtime more intentional.

Our KITCHEN Philosophy

We believe food should never be reduced to a single number. Calorie counting often overlooks the unique biological complexity of our bodies and the richness of true nourishment. Our meals do not follow trends, fads, or rigid diet rules—they're designed to be clean, wholesome, and nutrient-dense for every family member.
This approach supports long-term wellness and encourages a more intuitive, joyful relationship with food rooted in care, balance, and real nourishment.
Good food starts with great ingredients. That's why we partner with farms and ranches that prioritize traditional, free-range, grass-fed practices and organic feed. These partnerships allow us to bring you food that is more flavorful, more nutrient-dense, and free from unnecessary additives, pesticides, and synthetic fillers.
To make thoughtful choices about when to go organic, we follow the Environmental Working Group's Clean Fifteen and Dirty Dozen guidelines, prioritizing organic where it matters most. This approach helps us keep our prices approachable while staying committed to clean eating.
Our menus also follow the seasons as much as possible, allowing us to avoid using out-of-season ingredients that have traveled long distances and lost their freshness and nutritional value.
We start with whole, clean, and unprocessed ingredients. We wash, peel, and chop everything by hand to honor the integrity of real and nutritious food.
This care extends to every element on the plate, including our house-made marinades, vinaigrettes, and sauces—crafted from scratch to bring depth, balance, and intention to every bite.
We cook without seed oils, refined sugars, or highly processed ingredients. Instead, we use avocado and olive oil, and naturally derived sweeteners like honey and maple syrup. Our goal is a fully seed oil-free kitchen, and we're constantly looking for alternatives to some condiments that may contain seed oil.
While we do not yet operate in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, we label our dishes as Gluten-Friendly to reflect that cross-contamination is possible. We understand how challenging celiac disease can be, and we hope one day to offer a dedicated space for those who need it most.
Sustainability is built into every part of our packaging. We use compostable containers made from plant fiber—not plastic—chosen to minimize waste and protect your food without harmful leaching. Our containers are oven-safe, so you can heat meals easily without transferring them. Meals are cooled before plating, packed at the optimal temperature for safe transport directly to your fridge. Clear heating instructions are included on every container, with a focus on oven heating to help preserve flavor and texture. Meals come in insulated bags with ice packs, which we collect at your next delivery—ensuring nothing goes to waste.
PARTNERS in CLEAN Eating

We work with local farms and ranches that use traditional, free-range methods and organic feed—partners who prioritize animal welfare, soil health, and clean, sustainable practices. By supporting these producers, we can offer ingredients with a superior nutritional profile that travel short distances from the farm to your table—preserving freshness, minimizing environmental impact, and strengthening our local economy.

Some of the partners we proudly work with include G Beef Ranch and 2S Ranch for 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised beef; Pederson's Farms for heritage-breed pork raised without antibiotics, hormones, or artificial preservatives; and Cedar Ridge Farm for pasture-raised eggs from hens fed a non-GMO, soy-free diet. We source our tortillas from La Norteña in Oak Cliff, which are made in small batches without seed oils or preservatives, and our raw, unfiltered honey is from Burleson's Honey, a Texas family business committed to sustainable beekeeping.

Our TEAM

À Table was founded by a group of Dallas women who came together to solve the everyday challenge of dinnertime—and the unhealthy choices that often arise when busy schedules leave little time for home cooking. Their mission was simple but powerful: to nourish not just bodies but homes and relationships.

Josephine Giesen, founder of À Table and a Highland Park resident, was born and raised in Lebanon—a country known for its vibrant Mediterranean cuisine and deep-rooted culture of hospitality. She was deeply inspired by her mother's cooking and the sacred daily ritual of gathering the family at the table—often over meals prepared with home-grown produce from their village garden. That upbringing instilled in her a lifelong respect for seasonal ingredients and food made from scratch with care. Her mother's evening call—"Les enfants, à table!"—echoed through the house. Naming the company À Table was a natural tribute to those cherished moments.

From the very beginning, Josephine partnered with Jenny Hajduk, former Executive Chef at Neiman Marcus, to bring that mission to life. With years of experience in fine dining and home kitchens, Jenny believes that wholesome meals start with exceptional ingredients—and no shortcuts. Together, they envisioned a service that blends culinary excellence and balanced nutrition with the warmth of a home-cooked meal, perfectly suited to the needs of busy families who value both quality and connection.

À Table began serving the Dallas community in November 2018—and the response has been extraordinary. As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to bring families back to the dinner table with food that is rooted in care.
