Catherine Merrick’s journey into baking sourdough began last year as a way to incorporate more gut-healthy foods into her diet. What started as a fun hobby quickly turned into a passion as she discovered the many health benefits of sourdough's slow fermentation process. Catherine began baking after work, gifting loaves to friends and neighbors, and soon, word spread. As demand grew, she took to Instagram (@Catherines__kitchen) to share her bread with others. Today, Catherine runs a full-time microbakery, crafting organic, preservative-free bread that nourishes our bodies the way they were meant to be nourished.
